Taste 3 iconic Kermit Lynch wines at The Austin Wine Merchant today

Mosaic Wine Group will be pouring three selections from the Kermit Lynch portfolio, today, March 4, 5-7 p.m., at The Austin Wine Merchant (512 West Sixth Street, Austin, between Nueces and San Antonio, 512-499-0512). No RSVP required.

JUST ADDED: Tempier 2006 Bandol (Rouge), considered by many to be one of the greatest expressions of Mourvèdre and Bandol.

Domaine Savary 2007 Chablis

Traditional-style, terroir-driven expressions of Chablis made in small quantities.

Château Thivin 2007 Côte de Brouilly

Gamay noir à jus blanc grown on the slopes of Mont Brouilly in the heart of Beaujolais, made by one of the appellations oldest producers, “the classiest” and the “Lauren Bacall” of Gamay, according to Kermit himself.

Clos la Coutale 2006 Cahors

Clos la Coutale is a sixth-generation winemaker in Cahors, in Southwestern France (near Bordeaux). Made predominantly from Malbec (known locally as Cot), Merlot, and Tannat, this is one of the most elegant and iconic expressions of the appellation.
